WHAT AN AMAZING DAY IT WAS! INCREDIBLE! PHENOMENAL! EXCITING!
CONGRATULATIONS AND MANY THANKS TO THE LT, PLANNING TEAM, AND VOLUNTEERS FOR ALL OF YOUR EFFORTS. YOU MADE TODAY POSSIBLE AND EXECUTED IT WITH EXPERT PRECISION. IT FELT LIKE THIS WAS THE 10TH ANNUAL, AND NOT THE 1ST ANNUAL. I SALUTE YOU ALL! BRAVO!
IT CAN BE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT, AND ALMOST OVERWHELMING TO CREATE, PLAN, AND ORGANIZE AN EVENT OF THIS MAGNITUDE. YOU MADE IT HAPPEN! AND YOU MADE IT HAPPEN BIG! ORGANIZATION WAS PERFECT!
FOR THOSE WHO WERE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND, BE SURE TO CLEAR YOUR CALENDAR FOR OCTOBER 2012. I CAN GUARANTEE THAT LSMF2012 WILL BE EVEN MORE AMAZING! I WILL BE COUNTING THE DAYS.
AGAIN, THANK YOU ALL!

Fantastic planning by the leadership. Proud to be one of the SCLX volunteers and can't wait until next year. The hiccups you would expect from a first time event were minimal from what I could see. I know next year will be even better.
Maybe I'll even run brackets next year. I settled for a quick solo pass early in the day just to see what my baby would do.
Results of my day
Reaction time: .8636
ET: 13.3866
Speed: 103.69
Pretty pleased with my first run down a 1/4 mile track. Although if I could have had a respectable RT I could have had a sub 13 run. Now that would have been awesome!!!!

Awesome event, like said before did not feel like a 1st annual. Only hiccups I noticed were the volunteers loosing track of time and not showing for their posts. And heard a couple people say the event layout should be changed up a little (i.e. make autocross the first thing done, rather than in the middle) While I see the reasoning for the way it was done the way it was (drag people to actually have time to make adjustments) maybe allow the racers to come in early to get set up so that the racing events can start earlier? All in all, Awesome! job, can't wait til next year. Maybe I will remember the sunscreen or forget the sunglasses (i look like a raccoon lmao)
I will get the few pics I have up later.

To our officers and volunteers,
LSMF was an OUTSTANDING event. Nothing about it was short of first, nay, luxury class.
As an example, the parking was excellent, and brilliantly conceived and executed. All of us value our cars about as much as we do our right eyes, and it was extremely pleasing to find wide spaces between cars, and more then adequate room for exiting.
I cannot say enough about the incredible organization that went into this event. You not only "done good", you "done brilliant" !
Many thanks from me and the missus. She loved it and so did I.
Warmest regards,
jamesdtuttle

Exceptional event! Couldn't have been happier to be a part of it. A little earlier race time maybe would have been nice, but I really liked that time was taken for a track talk for the first timers and they got to roll out with no one next to them for their maiden voyages. Nice.
I would have liked to have seen some of that sticky stuff on the track, though....
Seriously...big thumbs up to the organizers, the volunteers and the sponsors. Top notch!
