SCLX Family, Friends, Partners and Mopar Fanatics!
Well are now approaching one week since the inaugural Lone Star Mopar Fest. I am still taken back by what took place last week leading up to the event. I am so proud of this tremendous organization for all the planning and herculean efforts taken on by our volunteers. LSMF just simply would not have happened without you. It is simply amazing to see the culmination of all the planning and volunteers come together to present what we did for the Mopar community. We have had countless phone calls,emails, pm's talking about YOU - how professional, friendly, and welcoming we made the event. That just isn't the norm. Again, this continues to prove that our members are what make this great club. "The cars bring us together, the members set us apart."
I'll get it out of the way now because they will tell me they don't want to hear it. Ray, Jerry, Tom, and Rob were just an amazing team working relentlessly behind scenes for months in preparation so HUGE gratitude for their commitment, passion, and efforts.
As I continue to reflect on this event I need to mention that entering this week is a new chapter for SCLX. We have now conducted a very impressive regional event that was picked up nationally. So people know about even more than they did and our relationships with the "factory" are getting stronger with each conversation we had with them. The Pennzoil team was blown away with what was done. So watch out!! Bigger and even better things are just right around the corner. There are a few exciting things in the works, we will share more on that soon. Just know that as an organization we will continue to lead, pioneer and raise the bar on how car clubs do what they do.
