Back on June 5th of 2009, we had our first Central Meet and Greet in the Target parking lot on Taylor Street. There were about 10 cars that showed up that evening. We did them twice a month (first Friday and third Friday). We hoped that the central location would attract members to come hang out for a little while and especially attract the new first time attendees.
The members tell us you like events by your attendance... and the Central Meet & Greet had 51 cars and over 100 people tonight! It has truly become everything we wanted it to be... an informal atmosphere where members, new and old, get to hang out, grab a bite to eat, and just visit.
Special kudos to Lisa who baked a tremendous amount of cupcakes for all the members and families to enjoy! We want to thank each of you who has EVER attended the Central Meet and Greet... it's because of you that this event continues to grow and remains an anchor on the event calendar every month.
