It's been about 18 months since we last had an event at Armadillo Indoor Marketplace and the Spring Mod Meet was a huge hit. The weather cooperated and we had many cars outside and we were almost at capacity inside. Our friends from DFWLX showed up strong with 24 cars in addition to the 61 SCLX cars that were rolled in and out during the event. That's a lot of Mopars!
The best part about the day was seeing members helping and learning from other members. There were five offical "mod" bays but members ended up breaking their cars down in where they were parked because they couldn't wait to get started. This event even saw the official SCLX return of FreebirdSRT's first LX car (Mark still owns a Magnum SRT and Detonator Yellow Super Bee #993). The proud owner of the one-of-a kind car... OROD!
We have another mod meet planned for August and it might just have to be at Armadillo again as a true "Beat the Heat" event. Thanks to the club supporters whose donations make events like this possible.
