Two years ago the SCLX Leadership Team wanted to develop a consistent event in a central location that would be easy for members to remember.  The Central Meet and Greet at the Target off Taylor Street was born. Every month, on the third Friday of the month, you'll find SCLX members gathering.  The first event in April of 2009 had 10 cars show up.  The LT wondered if the Central Meet & Greet would ever "take off". 

Well... it sure did!  The fantastic weather on a springtime evening brought out over 60 member vehicles and well over 100 people to the Target parking lot.  As is regular with the Central Meet & Greet, a large number of first-timers attended.  We are glad you came out to meet your fellow enthusiasts.  Our info table was busy and you all snapped up our popular performance polos.  The attendance at this event continues to grow and we know it's because of the consistency of this particular event... same location on the 3rd Friday of each month.

Here is a great story from last night... A family showed up in to do some shopping at the Target.  They saw all the cars and decided to walk over.  Come to find out, the husband owns a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT in Hemi Orange.  In fact, one of you tagged their car a couple weeks before but they had not yet visited the website or joined the club.  The man's family was telling him he should "do some stuff" to his car for a while and after seeing all of your cars last night he's now got "the bug".  Thanks for being great examples of what an enthusiast club is all about!
