As the evening approached the possiblity of a rainout was looming. Members met up in their area caravans, texting weather updates to each other, and began to proceed to the Central Meet & Greet location. The westside rolled in early to grab a burger at Southwells.
This event was the debut of our new parking layout to gather members closer together, and it worked. We were really pleased and in true SCLX style, we'll continue to tweak it for improvements.
In all, even with the threat of rain we counted 54 cars in attendance with well over 80 members. The new faces keep showing up to this event and we are glad for it. As Johnny Bee, SCLX President, said in a video we shot on site, "all it's gonna take is one event" and you'll see what SCLX is all about.
