Space City LX provides members and their families an opportunity to take their vehicle ownership experience to levels they have never experienced before. We provide a way for members to exchange information with each other, to educate themselves, and to express their creativity with other like-minded enthusiasts. Members participate in local events, road trips, car shows, and mod meets. Members Helping Members is not just a slogan, it's what we do. |

Founded in May 2007, Space City LX was the first "LX" club in Texas. Formed out of a desire to take the "online" connections owners made via car forums and to provide a way for owners to connect on a local, face-to-face, level.

Why the name Space City? Houston has a strong connnetion with the US Space Program. Why LX? The 300, Charger, and Magnum are built on what is called the LX platform.
Even as new models like the Challenger (LC) and the second generation modern Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 (LD) are introduced our name will remain Space City LX. We see "LX" as a bond to the vehicles that were first released in 2005 and the reason this owners' community was formed.

Membership in Space City LX is FREE and open to owners at least 18 years of age and own one of the following vehicles (model year 2005 and newer):
Chrysler 300
Dodge Charger
Dodge Magnum
Dodge Challenger
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT
As an owner of one of these vehicles, we invite you join the Houston Modern Mopar scene. Go to the JOIN page and register as a member. Once a member, we also invite you to create an account the SCLX Forum where you can make a direct connection to other local owners.
Whether you are all stock, all custom, all show, all go, or like most of us, somewhere in between, we invite you to join this community of owners. SCLX, more than a car club... a family of enthusiasts.
The club operates under Space City LX Modern Mopar Inc., a non-profit corporation under section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code. SCLX has been dues-free from inception and is supported by members for members. |
